When is the best time of the year to visit the Santa Teresa National Park?

It is a common trend seen in the region that the colder it is in the US, the warmer it gets in Uruguay. It is recommended you visit the Park during the months of December through March. However, these months also coincide with the peak tourist season of the area and if you do plan a visit at this time you need to be prepared to encounter huge crowds and also need to shell out more of those currency notes.
