How to reach

The city of Sao Paulo is well connected with the domestic and international destinations and is easily accessible by flights. From other destination in Brazil, you can even drive your way to Sao Paulo, obviously if you have ample of time for a road trip. From Rio de Janeiro, for instance, Sao Paulo is at a distance of 429 kilometers or so.

Getting around is fairly convenient with a well-developed Metro system. Other than this, you can always hire the taxis or rent a car.

Be a beach bum.  The beaches here are definitely a priority for tourists and an attraction at anytime of the year. Some of the finest beaches of Sao Paulo are the Praia do Encanto Beach, the Santos Beach – known for its dune park, the beach of Morro de Sao Paulo and the Angra dos Reis Beach located between Rio de Janeiro.  You could sit by the beach or swim in the warm waters here.

Get close to the city’s culture. To help you do so, the city has about 90 museums and art centers around. Some of them are the Modern Art Museum, the State Pinacoteca Museum, the Sacred Art Museum, the Image and Sound Museum, the Ipiranga Museum and the Lasar Segall Museum among the others. The cultural centers here also have art performances and festivals. Worth checking out.

Go for an eco-tour. The city of Sao Paulo offers some good places dedicated to nature. Visit the Ibirapuera Park with a Japanese Gardens, sports grounds and some of the city’s museums as well.  The Botanical Garden with about 340 native plant species and aquatic plants is another place to revitalize your senses. Also worth visiting is the Jaragua Peak Forest Reserve.

Immerse in the local culture. Go to the Mercado Municipal for some good food. Explore the Central Market and get your souvenirs from here. Visit the Japan town. Take a train ride to the countryside.

Go for excursion. The city of Rio de Janeiro is a 40-minute flight from Sao Paulo and you can also drive to Rio. The Copacabana and the Ipanema Beaches here are the world-know beaches. Visit Curitiba, where you can take a 3-hour train trip.

A vacation at Sao Paulo in Brazil will leave you with many fond experiences. Nature, culture and the historical landmarks make this South American city a good destination to have a nice time at.
